The Adams Rite 4591 Deadlatch Paddle
is an ergonomically designed alternative to traditional knobs and lever handles for narrow stile aluminum storefront doors. With a simple push or pull in the direction of door swing, the paddle retracts the latch, making opening a latched door feel as natural as opening an unlatched one.

Note: On a single door leaf this unit typically can not be installed on the push side because it sticks out further than the 459/4590 paddle and hits the door stop.
Typical application is pull side mount or used on a pair of doors for push side.
